Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you see?

Here is my needle felted polar bear for the Mondorfment Swap.  As you can probably guess...I got South America (hehe!) (ok...that was supposed to be funny 'cause polar bears aren't in SA they're in Arctic/Antarctic which is what I have.  Thank you Leann for pointing out my sense of humor didn't connect! :) I have Antarctica/Arctic.)  I have to say that anyone who thought about participating and didn't...wow...you should set up a device for kickin' your bee-hind cause it ROCKS!

The swap closed at 10 since we wanted to get started and participants were slowing down.  I had divided the continents up a bit into North America (includes Canada), Central America, South America, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.  Oh, and Antarctica/Arctic.

(I love his little tail!)  Oh..and no blood either!  I'm quite proud of that too!  My fingers were safe and I didn't even use bandaids to protect them this time either!  You get much better dexterity and use less roving when your fingers are free of bandaids or wound tape! :)  Also he weighs about half an ounce and is about the size of my palm.  Seeing as how you can't see my palm...he's as tall as the keyboard from 1 to space bar and as long as q (his nose) to k (his little tail).

So far magic seems to be screaming from the gals  like a back woods mama who's had her knickers stolen off the line.  They're all great and super chatty and spindiferousspectaularous crafty/idea folk.  Karen has Western Europe and oui, oui, oui is she the Western Europe Swap Goddess.

She's created AMAZING works and I feel like I've hit the mother load with this bunch.  She's created an interactive/ make your own stonehenge.  Where does she get it?  Is she touched by the swap fairy every night?  'Cause I sure could use some fairy swap dust! :)  Is this not the definition of amazing?!

I have to say...I think perhaps the Swap fairy did sprinkle me with swap dust...because all my swappers are awesome and creating AMAZING quality works!  Thanks guys for joining in.

Honey

  5. The polar bears are also going to be included in the second swap. I'm not unique enough to come up with 20 different things so both swaps have to use the same 10. I'm glad you like them...and here's what I find AMAZING about them...no blood! :) Those needles are sharp! Thanks for joining Kerry Anne! It still amazes me that I follow your blog & now you're apart of the swap. I had the same wow factor/thing with Sunrise Learning Lab & The Power of Two.

;) I do love reading comments. Plus, you never know if I'll send you a special something just because you left a comment. Yes, I know, but adult bribery is acceptable.
