Okay ya'll...yesterday I was reading through some of the blogs I follow and found on a page something called swagbucks. Sounds odd yes...but you'll love it! All it is is this site that basically advertises for companies, offers polls to get your opinion, offers ads...things you're looking up already.
So...when you click on the link to check it out you see that you can win gift cards by turning in your 'swagbucks'. You win swagbucks by doing your searches through them instead of google. I have to admit that I do a lot of searches for the kids' materials so this is just a win win for me. They come up with the same search items google does (I tested it out on some searches.)
Now, most people only get around 10-20 a day if they hunt them out (the creator of swagbucks sends out daily emails for you to input and win with...and so does stuff from the facebook page swagbucks has.) So...we're looking for new car insurance and ...I saw swagbucks was offering TONS of swagbucks for different quotes. We're needing a new carrier (our company was bought out and then resold...I don't know but I hate how our rates went up and we've no issues, tickets, etc.) and it seemed heaven sent :). I filled out like 4 different companies for the quotes, won 1068 swag buck points, went to the prize section, picked out 2 5$ gift cards to Amazon and voila! Not only did I find a new carrier today (we're saving a tad over 400$ a year) but I picked up $10 to spend on Amazon....and I've still 168 points left.
Guess what I'm working to buy with my Amazon cards?...
I figure with the bark it'll give Tyler and Sunshine that extra texture to help with their sensory issues. Rhea will enjoy them as she's very much into sketching. I only hope we can do a lesson on how to properly sharpen the pencils.
This year our Christmas is going to be handmade and these pencils are made under Fair Trade ethics so that makes me very, very happy. You know...even if you're not wanting to change your insurance...isn't it worth checking for a quote? We went from nearly 1200.00 a year to a tad over 800.00 a year. And, no....speeding tickets and such didn't come off....we've been ticket free for 3 or 4 years now...Knock on wood! ptu-ptu (spitting to keep the devil away). And...you can get a lovely gift card to Amazon!!!! :) http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Mondorfment
...yes...if you sign up under my link I'll get some swagbucks. Wanna help me with another pencil set? ;)

I found your blog about a month ago. I love, love, love it! I look forward to reading it regularly!
ReplyDeleteHi Honey!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by, I LOVED your comment!!
Your costumes sound adorable! The hive, little bee and flowers - genius! And I melted a little at the thought of the kangaroo pouch... If you ever share pics, please let me know because I would just love to see them.
I love how you celebrate Halloween in American, it sounds so much fun! Its not a big thing in the UK, just the one night and focused on the little ones. Thats why I feel I can't really dress up... but I think you've just twisted my arm. I mean, why not?
Sending you lots of happy wishes, I hope something good comes your way xo
