One year of service for one thousand dollars...

I've received a few emails about the school so I wanted to share that the college is an online school out of Arizona. It's called Grand Canyon University. They offer many online degrees so it really looks like you'd be able to finish up no matter what you're interested in. (Ben's going to DeVry & finishing his degree..I wish they gave a family discount!) Speak with Adrian Mann if you call. He's really nice & practically held my hand today trying to figure out school costs when I didn't think I was going to have the monies needed. Thank you TEACH grant! The cost per credit is higher than average, so if you can attend a local I'd highly recommend it just to save on costs.

I also found out that I won't be able to go full time (I'll be half time) for the first year. Sad, but...maybe that's a better fit for our family & this way we could go ahead with one more baby.

So who knows! Worst case is I graduate in 5 years instead of 3....I really want 3 though! Oh! and did you know that with each teach grant you have to promise 4 years of service in a low income school? Take 4 grants...that's 16 YEARS...dude...in today's economy..who has that kind of job security?  If you're laid off...it counts as if you've quit & it(the grant) turns into a loan with all that interest added on from when it was taken out.  I guess this is a sign where you just leap & trust that God will catch you.  I just hope he's paying attention & doesn't drop me! ;)
